Coffee 4 Our Troops
In 2007 I started a Facebook Group called Tim Horton’s for our troops. This group quickly became successful and in no time at all caught the heart of Canadians all over. The Idea was for people to send Tim Horton’s gift certificates to the soldiers serving in Afghanistan so they would not have to pay for coffee.
From 2007 until now we have sent Just over $30,000 in free Tim Horton’s all with messages from home on the back of them.
Several months ago the website was shut down by a security company overseas and it took me awhile to get things back up and running but we are back, and stronger than ever.
As you may or may not be aware the Tim Card is not accepted overseas in Kandahar, therefore Tim Horton’s has established a process for customers wishing to purchase paper gift certificates for troop members in Kandahar. Customers may contact the Tim Horton’s Customer Service Department at:
1-888-601-1616, Customers can pay by either Visa or Master card over the phone and we will ship the paper gift certificates to them directly.
You can still purchase booklets of gift certificates and send them to the following address:

This time as Thank A Soldier has become very international I’m looking to send coffee packets and possibly small personal sized coffee makers to our front line guys and others serving with military from around the world.
I have addresses of people willing to distribute the coffee, if anyone is interested in helping please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
